- Nicholas Jackson Collection. Overton-101, so-called "1822/1". The proper status of O-101 (and O-102) as a true overdate has come into question in recent years, with differentiation easy since the earlier die-marriage has the second "2' lower than the first. Somewhat attractive almond-bronze douses the surface, thinning over portions of the portrait by cabinet friction that likely also limits the grade. Frosty and fairly well struck overall.
