With just two graded finer, this is a sensational and important opportunity for the Registry Set crowd. Beautifully toned with arcs of orange, gold, yellow, blue, and violet hues along the lower obverse. The boldly lustrous surfaces radiate with a freshly minted brilliance. The reverse is dappled with original patina. The strike is bold with sharply struck devices on both sides. A few tiny ticks are seen with the aid of a strong glass, but are noted here for the sake of accuracy only and they have no impact on the absolutely AMAZING eye appeal. PCGS 414, NGC 248, CAC 58. There are 21 in MS67+ and just two MS68s graded finer. There have been ten auction sales of a PCGS/CAC MS67+ going back to 2014, with the average lot bringing $2,180.
