- A very collectible early Seated Liberty dollar. Decently stuck details show only the lightest even wear on the highest points of the design. The obverse is steel gray with delightful russet and blue toning deepening towards the rims; the reverse is a more uniform gray-blue throughout. Less than 3 dozen coins have been graded finer from a modest mintage of 15,000 pieces making the current Choice AU a great option for the collector. PCGS 25, NGC 17, CAC 6. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $4,250. Last auction appearance of a CAC stickered coin in this grade (PCGS) was in August 2103 for $5,288.
