- 1816 Matron Head Cent. N-2. Rarity-1. MS-64 BN (PCGS). CAC. A beautiful example of this date and variety. Frosty luster encircles pleasing deep golden-brown surfaces. Some powder blue iridescence and the merest peeks of faded mint color may be seen across the boldly detailed surfaces. A gorgeous cent, showing no heavy marks or corrosion, just full of eye appeal and ready to be placed in an advanced cabinet. Provenance: From the Jerome S. Reznick Collection.
