Dominant dove gray patina with intermingled blushes of olive, russet and pale apricot evident as the surfaces rotate under a light. The perennially popular 1861-O Liberty Seated half dollar issue was produced under the authority of three different governments: the United States, the State of Louisiana, and the Confederate States of America.
