详细说明: This is the FINEST CIRCULATED 1814 Crosslet 4 graded by PCGS, and a coin that is just on the cusp of a full Mint State grade! The surfaces show off a wealth of glowing, frosty luster on medium brown surfaces. There are accents of burnt orange and violet-teal that come out when rotated in a light. The closest inspection with a strong glass betrays just the slightest hint of contact. This coin is of very high quality, not only for the date and type, but for the assigned grade. We have seen Mint State coins that do not have the visual allure of this GEM AU! PCGS 26, NGC 22, CAC 4. This is the ONLY AU58+ graded at either service. This is not a date that usually comes nice, even in the higher grade examples. Mint State coins are indeed VERY RARE and AU58s are always in demand. The most recent regular AU58 sold in our January 2018 Regency Auction for $7,050. The most recent PCGS/CAC coin in Mint State grade to sell was an MS62 BN that sold for $10,575 over three years ago.
