- FRANCE. Ecu d'Or, ND (ca. 1337). Philippe VI de Valois (1328-50). NGC MS-62. Fr-270; Dupl-249; Ciani-282. Free of any marks or signs of handling. Obverse strike is particularly bold with strong legends and detail, reverse die seems to have been a bit worn and shows tiny doubling of some letters and trefoils. Full legends on both sides.
