Going To Houston Consignment. KM#386.1. Rarely found in mint-state, a strong "about uncirculated" is the best most world type collectors can hope for from the reign of Louis XIV. Most seen will only be in the fine or slightly better grade range. Here is a terrific example, well executed and properly centered on the flan such that the obverse and reverse borders are very nearly complete. Superb, powdery pewter-grey dominates the surface but permits a fair amount of luster to peep through.
