WOW! This borderline SUPERB GEM is extremely eye catching. The colors are absolutely GORGEOUS! Displaying a shockingly vivid azure-teal and rose-gold tone, while the reverse boasts a rich reddish-pink that blends with gold. A bold luster adds to the outstanding eye appeal. While we have seen some "toned" Columbian Expo halves, and have offered them, few if any can come close to this one! Not a rare coin per se, but when offered in a SUPERB state of preservation combined with beautiful toning, these see fierce bidding competition. PCGS 260, NGC 169, CAC 124. Disregard the published levels and most APRs. We sold an 1892 in PCGS MS66 CAC as part of the Valley View Collection, for $2,056 in our December 2019 Regency Auction.
