- 1876 Seated Liberty Quarter. Proof-67 (PCGS). CAC. Secure Holder. At the apex of Condition Census for the Centennial-year proof Seated Quarter issue, this 1876 really needs to be seen to be fully appreciated. The surfaces are so smooth as to be devoid of even trivial detractions. Originally and attractively toned, we note a blend of handsome pinkish-gray, dove-gray, sea-green and reddish-copper iridescence to both sides that is boldest at the lower-left obverse and upper-left reverse borders. Fully struck throughout, with a strongly reflective finish shining forth as the surfaces rotate under a light.
