详细说明: Completely and totally original, high end and beautiful, this is a sensational example of this low mintage Civil War Proof issue. In the old days, or if offered raw, we would not be shocked if this beauty was called a GEM Proof! It is very close and we have seen PR65s that did not have the sensational eye appeal of this beautiful No Motto Seated dollar. Sleek, icy mirrored fields have a smooth glass like brilliance that gleams and beams from all over. Peachy-rose accents with bold golden accents with hints of blue that come out when rotated in a light. The devices are sharply struck and frosted and at angles there is a cameo-like look. A few microscopic lines, widely scattered, can be found with a strong glass, and have no bearing on the eye appeal or the assigned grade. This is a sensational example. Only 470 Proofs were struck. 43, NGC 46, CAC 11. The ONLY CAC example to sell was back in January 2015--that was forever ago. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $8,750 and this very attractive, essentially GEM will see very strong bidding.
