详细说明: FROM THE WOLVERINE COLLECTION. Among the FINEST graded in the RD designation, this gorgeous PR66 has a SUPERB look. The deeply reflective, brilliant RED mirrors dance and beam with a vivid flash on both sides. Richer red iridescent toning is gently dusted over the bright, orange-gold coppery color. The sharply struck devices stand out with near cameo-like contrast on both sides. We see only a tiny planchet flake on the reverse under a strong glass. The surfaces are slightly "mellowed" which may be why CAC did not sticker this otherwise exceptionally beautiful GEM. PCGS 3, NGC 0. The last time this coin sold was a decade ago, selling for $11,500 in March 2009. Prior to that, one sold in July 2008 for $14,950. Today, the Collector's Universe value is listed at $14,000 and we suspect that this beautiful SUPERB example will bring close to that.
