Quite possibly this GEM is the FINEST KNOWN O-116, it is indeed finer than any listed in Stephen Herrman's Spring 2020 Revision of the AMBPR. The curl on Liberty's forehead extends into the headband and a tiny tine off the left side of the scroll are two of the diagnostics for this Rarity-3 die marriage. The devices on both obverse and reverse are razor sharp in crispness and definition and stand out against the satiny fields. Richly toned, with blues blending with pewter and gold patina. Even under close inspection with a powerful glass we can only find a single minute line or two. An excellent coin for any wonderful type or date set! PCGS 8, NGC 7. The most recent example to sell in auction realized $13,800 in April 2019 and prior to that, these were selling for around $20,000 which is the current Collectors Universe value. Just two MS66+s have graded for the date finer, neither of which have ever sold in auction. This is a great opportunity to add a wonderful GEM Capped Bust half dollar to your type set! Good luck!
