- GERMANY. Saxony. 2 Ducats, 1638-SD. Dresden Mint. Johann Georg I. PCGS Genuine--Tooled, AU Details Gold Shield. Fr-2682; KM-400. Weight: 6.90 gms. Obverse: Johann Georg standing right in full armor, holding sword and resting hand upon hip; Reverse: Garnished coat-of-arms. A bold and lustrous example with very little evidence of any handling. Some scattered red deposits are noted in just a few areas toward the peripheries, as well as some slight tooling at the edges and rims. Estimate: $3,000 - $4,500.
