- 1844-O Liberty Seated Quarter. Briggs 1-A. Repunched Date. AU-58 (NGC). A rich array of vivid golden-rose, cobalt blue and pinkish-silver toning is seen on both sides of this attractive example. Striking detail is sharp in most areas, and plenty of lively luster remains. If the Mint State example in the preceding lot proves elusive, this coin offers an 1844-O quarter of nearly equal rarity and desirability.
