详细说明: FROM THE GRAND PRIX COLLECTION Tied for the second FINEST graded 17-S Obverse half dollar, this STUNNNG GEM is the first time in nearly a GENERATION that a PCGS MS66 example will be sold in an auction. Not only is this coin very HIGH END, it is marvelously original and FRESH to the market. A thick, frosty satin luster has a brilliant, monster vibrance on both sides. The reverse is especially impressive with swirling cartwheels. The devices are crisply struck with essentially full definition throughout the drapery and all of Liberty's details. Both sides are framed by a amber-gold and a pale teal-blue. The remaining silver surfaces are original silver with just a hint of the most subtle, iridescent tone. Needless to say, this 17-S is gorgeous and has a visual allure that is pretty much unique and very high end. PCGS 3, NGC 2, CAC 1. None have sold since the Ally Collection coin sold in July 2002!
