- 1860 Indian Cent. Proof-66 (NGC). Rounded Bust Truncation. Partially brilliant with blushes of rose, blue, and violet. Boldly struck in all areas. Although about 1,000 Proofs are thought to have been minted, the population statistics of the two major certification services suggest that number issued was actually much smaller; perhaps less than half the 1,000-piece figure. PCGS# 2253. NGC Census: 12 within any designation; 2 finer (Proof-68 finest).
