- Stunning Yuan Shih-kai Pattern in Copper CHINA. Copper Dollar Pattern, Year 3 (1914). PCGS SPECIMEN-63 Brown. L&M-Unlisted; K-651x; KM-Pn34; WS-Unlisted. An INCREDIBLE RARITY, this off-metal pattern issue in copper represents one of just four such alluring specimens to cross the auction block over the past few decades, with the present example clearly standing as the finest. The strike is crisp, clear, and elegant, with the light brown surfaces yielding to some original mint red brilliance accentuating the devices. Furthermore, lustrous brilliance in the fields comes alive when cradled back and forth in one's hand.
