- MEXICO. 1/2 Real, 1861-C PV. Culiacan Mint. NGC MS-63. KM-370.2. Fine die polish lines in the fields create shimmering luster and attractive tone concentrates near the legends. Closer inspection reveals two unusual as-made attributes over the surfaces; the first being a Liberty cap with highly unusual texture and the second is an error in the denomination, it being displayed as 1 (perhaps double punched) instead of a 1/2.
