- 1804 Draped Bust Half Cent. C-8. Rarity-1. Spiked Chin. AU-58 (PCGS). Deep antique copper patina blankets both sides of this satiny, sharply defined example. The surfaces are hard and right with no blemishes of note. Cohen-8 is the "common" Spiked Chin variety of the 1804 Draped Bust half cent, represented here by an inviting near-Mint survivor. Manley Die State 1.0, without the usually seen reverse die crack from the rim to the letter R in AMERICA. This die state is rare, per Manley (1998). Provenance: From the Greenway Collection.
