- GREAT BRITAIN. Victoria Coronation Silver Medal, 1838. PCGS SPECIMEN-58 Gold Shield. BHM-1801; Eimer-1315. By Benedetto Pistrucci. Obverse: Bust of Queen Victoria left, her name and titles around; Reverse: Victoria being presented a crown by Britannia, Hibernia, and Scotia. Struck in high relief with original bright fields still visible under a dark charcoal gray patina. While not detrimental to the surfaces, we note a glue-like residue on the surfaces beneath Victoria's chin that could be easily removed by expert conservation. Estimate: $400 - $700.
