From the Perfection Collection of Proof Seated Half Dollars. The Number 1 PCGS Registry Set with CAC Approval. A fantastic example of this very scarce proof from an approximate mintage of just 300 coins struck. While there are no Deep Cameo examples for the date, this is the only cameo example to have earned CAC's approval, attesting to its high end technical quality and eye appeal. Boldly reflective mirrors are tinted pale gold and create strong contrast against the frosty devices. PCGS has graded only 2 examples finer with no deep cameo pieces known for the date. CAC approved for quality. PCGS+ grade for premium quality at the top of end of the assigned grade.
