- 1863 Horrors of War Civil War token. Musante GW-578, Baker-475, Fuld-120/256a. Rarity-9. Copper. MS-63 BN (PCGS). 20.0 mm. Light blue, green and violet toning. Lustrous and attractive, but struck on a defective flan with numerous tiny chips out of the reverse. Also struck from misaligned dies, the reverse being quite off center. Still rare in this composition and very sharp. Provenance: Ex William Spohn Baker Collection, to the Historical Society of Pennsylvania by bequest, November 15, 1897.
