- High Grade Auspicious Bat 5 Mace Finest Certified (t) CHINA. Sinkiang. 5 Mace (Miscals), ND (1910). NGC AU-55. L&M-817; K-1012i; KM-Y-6.7; WS-1295. Single auspicious bat above uncircled dragon's head. The single finest certified of the L&M number and the only ALMOST UNCIRCULATED example on either the NGC or PCGS population reports. NGC denotes the coin as "struck on defective planchet" due to a minor planchet flaw appearing on the dragon, hardly a distraction for this issue. This beautifully preserved example displays lovely rich mottled gray patina with plenty of remaining luster in the protected areas adding to its pleasing appearance.
