- 1908 United States Assay Commission Medal. By Charles E. Barber and George T. Morgan. JK AC-52. Rarity-6. Silver. MS-67 (NGC). 40 mm x 55 mm, plaque. This virtually pristine specimen exhibits a few isolated blushes of steel-olive on otherwise pearl gray surfaces. One of only 56 examples of the 1908 Assay Commission medal struck in silver, and an especially well preserved and desirable example of this scarce issue. Outstanding!
