CHINA. Szechuan. Dollar, Year 1 (1912). Uncertain Mint, likely Chengdu or Chungking. NGC MS-61. L&M-366; cf. K-775 (for type); KM-Y-456; WS-0778. Variety with short stroke on "jin". Quite attractively toned, this handsome specimen is nicely struck and softly lustrous. The surfaces are relatively free from chatter, though an occasional wisp of handling is spotted.
