This is a very pleasing super slider with virtually no perceptible wear to be found anywhere. A shimmering, satiny luster blooms all over with very pleasing rich orange-gold color. Some minor lines and contact from a brief stay in commerce. The eye appeal is excellent. PCGS 30, NGC 84, CAC 9. There are two in AU58+, neither have ever sold. NO CAC AU58 has ever sold in auction. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,850 and this coin will delight anyone working on a set who does not want to spend five figures for a Mint State survivor of this conditionally rare Type II double eagle.
