详细说明: This is an exceptionally high end GEM example of this early nickel, the first year of the No Rays reverse type. Deep, flashing, reflective mirrored fields are exceptionally clean and have a beaming brilliance that catches the eye from across the room. A light dusting of iridescent tone across the reverse attests to the originality. The devices are razor sharp and thickly frosted, standing out in dramatic CAMEO fashion. The eye appeal is excellent! Only 600 Proofs were struck. PCGS 36, NGC 23, CAC 8. It has been nearly five years since a PCGS/CAC PR65 CAM example sold in auction, bringing $2,350 back in March 2015. The average APR for the 9 CAC-approved examples is nearly $3,300 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $2,400. Not common any finer, this coin will fit in nicely in any GEM set. Cert.
