A delicately toned GEM example of the first year of the Barber series. A rich underlying satiny brilliance glows boldly below the original iridescent toning. Well struck and wholly without any flaws worthy of mention, this is a sensational example. We are not sure why CAC did not sticker it, but we certainly like it! PCGS 143, NGC 159. Recent auction sales fall in the $575 to $625 range and the current Collectors Universe value is $700. A nice coin to start out a set of this popular series. Cert. Number 11588908 PCGS # 5601.00
