EX BRUCE SCHER This is a gorgeous SUPERB GEM example of the type. Beautifully toned on both sides that show deep blue, teal, and amber-apricot in the center of the obverse. Flashy, watery fields have a wealth of reflection. The devices are sharply impressed with razor-like definition. The surfaces are immaculate, free of any distracting lines, marks, or spots of any kind. The eye appeal is amazing! PCGS 13, NGC 13, CAC 6. The last time a PCGS/CAC example sold in auction was nearly 7 years ago, selling for $6,463 in August 2013. The current market is not where it was back then, the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,750 and the CAC CPG value is $4,060. Just a half dozen examples are graded finer, we sold a PCGS PR67+ CAC in our July 2018 Regency Auction for $4,700.
