A GEM example of final Philadelphia mintage of the Peace dollar series. A warm satiny glow radiates through a gentle dusting of pearly-silver gray and darker speckles at the rims. Nicely struck, though not totally full, notably at the reverse legend and eagle's wing feathers. Some stray light marks are what keeps this coin out of a SUPERB grade. The eye appeal is generally pleasing. This date is VERY RARE any finer. Good luck. PCGS 138, NGC 21. This is the most recent example of this grade to sell in auction, realizing $4,100 in January 2023. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $7,500 and it jumps to $46,500 in MS67!
