Highly lustrous and wonderfully original, this MS62 has some distinct claims to the CHOICE grade. Some minor scuffs are noted, likely from bag storage at some time, long toned over with a pleasing honey wheat golden skin, but none of the marks or ticks have an impact on the eye appeal. Well struck devices stand out and add to the visual allure. PCGS 1369, NGC 870, CAC 34. Over four years have passed since the last PCGS MS62 CAC has sold, and the market dynamics are such that those results are no longer relevant. The most recent non-CAC examples have sold for $2,640 and $2,750. The current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $3,000. While still available in MS63, this date is virtually non-existent in GEM (PCGS has graded none finer than MS64+, NGC has 4 graded MS65).
