- MEXICO. Mexico Numismatic Society Gold Medal, 1976-Mo. NGC MS-68. 38 mm; 41.77 gms. Coins on medals series first series, type 8. Obverse of an 1811 Supreme National Congress of America 8 Reales with legend around; Reverse: Reverse of coin with legend around. Somewhat higher relief than the other pieces in the series and quite handsome as such. Glittering frosted devices with only a few trivial flecks and surrounding surfaces showing no signs of contact or handling. Well worthy of its lofty gem grade. Estimate: $1,600 - $1,900. NGC MS-68.
