- 1867 Liberty Seated Dime. Proof-66+ (PCGS). CAC. This handsome specimen is awash in rich toning of olive-russet, smoky silver-gray and steel-blue, the colors with a somewhat target-like distribution on the reverse. Vivid iridescent undertones flash into view as the surfaces dip into a light, providing further visual appeal. Fully struck with watery reflectivity to the finish. One of the more eagerly sought Proofs in the Legend Obverse Liberty Seated dime series, the 1867 is closely associated with a low mintage (6,000 pieces) issue in the circulation strike 1867.
