详细说明: Tied for FINEST graded 1945 Micro S dime. A SUPERB coin that brought a record price in our December 2016 Regency Auction, where it was described as: "Among the very FINEST examples of this popular variety, the presently offered jewel is well struck and lustrous. The bold mint bloom makes the lemon, olive, lavender, apricot, and subtle aubergine hues come to life. The color and luster combine to accentuate the sharply defined details in Ms. Liberty’s winged cap as well as on the fasces." To that we will add that it is a very memorable SUPERB Mercury dime, and will be a highlight in any short set or complete set. PCGS 4, NGC 1, CAC 2. As mentioned, this coin sold for a RECORD $18,800 in our December 2016 Regency Auction. Prior to that, one sold in March 2013 for $17,038. Today, PCGS lists a $21,000 value in its current Price Guide and it may well sell in excess of that amount when it crosses the block in Regency Auction 31.
