- 1794 Liberty Cap Cent. S-41. Rarity-3. Head of 1794. VF-30 (PCGS). This glossy golden-brown example has all devices boldly defined and the overall design readily appreciable. The strike is well centered on both sides, although the lower right obverse border is smooth and nearly devoid of denticulation. Scattered contact marks on both sides include several prominent ones on the obverse over and around Liberty's portrait. Noyes Die State B with both of the typically seen reverse cracks present, although not in their most advanced states. PCGS# 901374. NGC ID: 223P. Provenance: Discovered recently in France.
