- Scarce and Popular Dahlonega Quarter Eagle Characteristic deep yellow gold with rich orange toning towards the rims. Strike is weak in the centers, as is typical of this Mint, and the relative lack of detail on the eagle’s wings is strike as much as it is wear. The coins circulated heavily and relatively few survive from a mintage of 10,945. PCGS 16, NGC 12, CAC 2. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $2,750.
