This is one GORGEOUS Buffalo nickel! WOW. A bold and brilliant mint luster provides a glowing backlight to dusting of multicolored pastel toning. Shades of pink, lilac, orange, gold, and tangerine-rose blend together on both sides. The eye appeal is sensational, made even more special by the well struck devices and clean surfaces; a strong glass fails to find more than one or two tiny ticks, none of which are worthy of specific mention. VERY RARE any finer, this is a fabulous coin for the collector. PCGS 42, NGC 18, CAC 14. The most recent example sold in July 2021 for $5,520. The current Collectors Universe value is listed at $5,500. Only 11 examples are graded higher at PCGS and the most recent finer example sold in November 2016!
