- (t) CHINA. Taiwan. Copper-Nickel Medallic 10 Cents, ND (possibly ca. late 1960s). PCGS MS-67.
KMX-1160. Diameter: 27 mm. Obverse: Angled view of Chih Kan Tower; Reverse: horizontal line of characters. Edge: Reeded. Presumably struck to commemorate the completed restoration of the Chih Kan Tower, which was originally constructed in the 17th century. A RARE issue that we have not offered. A similar issue was sold in our May 2020 Hong Kong sale with a different reverse for $2,280 (lot # 42454).

This lot was manufactured in China and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after the tariffs were enacted. Accordingly, any client who wishes to take delivery of this item within the United States will be subject to a 7.5% import tariff plus a processing fee of 0.3464% (minimum $27.75 / maximum $538.40).
On July 27, 2022, the United States enacted new tariffs on collector’s items of Russian Federation or Republic of Belarus origin, including bullion and numismatic coins and banknotes. This lot was manufactured in the Russian Federation or the Republic of Belarus and was sourced from outside the United States for this auction after the tariffs were enacted. Accordingly, any client who wishes to take delivery of this item within the United States will be subject to a 35% import tariff plus a processing fee of 0.3464% (minimum $27.75 / maximum $538.40), at time of printing and subject to change.
