(t) CHINA. Taiwan. Copper-Nickel Medallic 10 Cents, ND (possibly ca. late 1960s). PCGS MS-67. KMX-1160. Diameter: 27 mm. Obverse: Angled view of Chih Kan Tower; Reverse: horizontal line of characters. Edge: Reeded. Presumably struck to commemorate the completed restoration of the Chih Kan Tower, which was originally constructed in the 17th century. A RARE issue that we have not offered. A similar issue was sold in our May 2020 Hong Kong sale with a different reverse for $2,280 (lot # 42454). Estimate: $700 - $1,000. Accordingly, any client who wishes to take delivery of this item within the United States will be subject to a 35% import tariff plus a processing fee of 0.3464% (minimum $27.75 / maximum $538.40), at time of printing and subject to change.
