- 1889 Liberty Seated Quarter. Briggs-1A. MS-67 (NGC). CAC. A frosty and beauteous Gem with eye appeal that is nothing short of magnificent. The lustrous golden-gray surfaces are alive with fiery cartwheel activity and a rich display of pale gold, sea-green, and powder-blue iridescence, especially on the reverse. The strike is sharp and the surfaces are pristine in appearance. One of just 12,000 examples of the date struck for intended circulation. Undeniably choice for the grade.
