This is a totally original GEM example of this major condition rarity. Its looks are wonderfully preserved with a strong, pearly, satiny luster that radiates vividly on both sides. Delicate toning in shades of pale gold, soft blue, and pastel rose hues. This coin has a crisp strike, even the thumb is nicely outlined and most of the lines in the flag are crisply defined. The surfaces are very nicely preserved, with no serious marks or lines to be found anywhere. The eye appeal is a real standout. PCGS 58, NGC 33, CAC 8. There are two in MS65+ and fewer than 30 are graded higher at PCGS. This coin sold in July 2017 for $10,575 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $10,500. Anything finer will cost $20,000+. This coin is a real prize for the Registry Set collector and will see very spirited bidding. Good luck. Cert. Number 83998274 PCGS # 6577.00
