- GREAT BRITAIN. Coronation of George IV Silver Medal, 1821. PCGS SP-64 Secure Holder. 35 mm; 17.70 gms. BHM-1070; Eimer-1146a. By B. Pistrucci. Laureate head of George IV left; Reverse: King enthroned at right being crowned by Victory with Britannia, Hibernia and Scotia at left. A very well preserved and gorgeously toned example of the official Royal Mint issue. A few trivial marks and no signs of wear. Vibrant cobalt blue hues fill in most of the central fields and over head which transitions into lovely oxblood and golden orange toward the peripheries. Strong original luster still booms from the surfaces despite the complete toning. A choice example with great eye appeal. Estimate: $600 - $800. Provenance: From the Michael Druck Collection.
