- 1802/1 Draped Bust Silver Dollar. BB-234, B-3. Rarity-3. Wide Date. AU-50 (NGC). Toned with blend of greenish-gold and russet over both sides, with areas of light patterns mixed with silver-gray. Faint handling from circulation with shallow nicks and a broken scratch or two, but easy to forgive given the overall strong eye appeal and above average technical state of preservation on this majestic overdate early dollar. An exceptional coin from the famed Warren Miller Collection, which over more than 30 arduous years accomplished the incredible feat of obtaining an example of each die marriage in this challenging silver dollar series, including four unique coins, and several others with just two examples known of the variety.
