Frosty lustrous surfaces gleam with a glittering brilliance in the fields. An original, peripheral toning frames both obverse and reverse, more boldly toned on the latter side. Well struck, frosted devices stand out against near-flawless surfaces. The eye appeal is great. PCGS 81, NGC 37, CAC 27. There are 9 in MS66+ at PCGS, and only one sold in auction over five years ago. We think this coin will exceed the current PCGS value of $1,100 when the hammer falls on this high grade Barber dime.
