- Among the FINEST graded 1881 Proof three cent nickels graded. Flashy, watery reflective fields show a strong vibrance. Well struck and frosty devices stand out and the surfaces show off a soft iridescent hue. The eye appeal is very high end. PCGS 70, NGC 56, CAC 45. NGC has graded 2 in PR67+ with just 8 finer. Neither NGC 67+ has ever sold in auction, but a PCGS PR67+ CAC sold in September 2017 for $1,260. The current Collector's Universe value is listed at $1,550 and keep in mind that these are not easy to find any finer. Bound for a very nice set. Cert. Number 74629822003 PCGS # 3777
