GERMANY. Saxony. Taler, 1831-S. Dresden Mint. Anton. PCGS MS-63 Gold Shield. Dav-869; KM-1133. Struck to the convention standard (28.06 g, 0.833 fine silver). Issued on the proclamation of a constitution for Saxony. A nicely toned Taler with a minimum of marks. Friedrich August II, regent for his uncle Anton since 1830, succeeded him in 1836.
