From the Hallett Collection. An incredible SUPERB GEM example of this date! A strong minty fresh luster beams from all over on both sides. The surfaces are creamy white and totally untoned, looking as fresh today as it did when it fell from the dies in 1926. A strong glass reveals nothing but a tiny, insignificant tick or two, none of which impose on the exceptional eye appeal. PCGS 33, NGC 9, CAC 19. In MS66+ PCGS has graded seven examples with just five coins finer. The most recent PCGS/CAC sold in 2018 FUN auction, realizing $2,834. Two others sold in 2017 one for $3,290 and the other for $3,525. The current PCGS value is listed at $4,250 and the last time one of the MS67 FBs to sell was in February 2014, realizing $24,675.
