- MEXICO. 20 Pesos, 1872-GoS. NGC MS-62. Fr-124; KM-414.4. Struck from lightly clashed dies with some feathers just barely discernible beneath the Liberty cap. Both dies show some hairline cracks and were likely replaced not long after this piece was struck. Very lustrous gold metal with a light sheen of tone giving a warm glowing orange appearance. Two contact marks near scroll seemingly the only issues which have kept this example from an even higher grade. tied with two other pieces in this grade with three graded one point higher.
