FROM THE FORMULA 1 COLLECTION. Ex. SHIREMAN/DUCKOR Even though there is another MS67 graded, this coin is universally regard as the finest 1895-S 50C that exists. Looking over, we agree! The surfaces are amazingly clean and smooth. Even using a strong glass we could only find a tiny frost break and a tick-NOTHING else. A moderate (but strong luster for a 95-S) glows from all over . Handsome even toning of totally original olive/pale purple/pale blue/gold swirls evenly over the obverse and parts of the reverse. This is not a dull or drab coin. Miss Liberty and the details are remarkably fully struck. This coin clearly has never been messed with and was carefully stored for many years. The eye appeal is great! PCGS 2, NGC 2, CAC 2. This coin last sold in January 2016 for $58,750. We can see it easily bringing that or more as demand seems to be shifting back to series like this. Regardless, this is such a cool coin to own! Cert.
