- MEXICO. Empire of Iturbide. Silver Proclamation Medal, 1822. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. Grove-9a; Fonrobert-6539. Crowned imperial eagle atop cactus growing out of rock; Reverse: Five line inscription with wreath around. Typical weak strike in the centers. Light attractive tone which transitions to a lovely mixture of iridescent hues that pop out when tilted in the light. Overall a handsome example with good eye appeal. Estimate: $125 - $175.
